Our founders, Aysha Anas Iftikhar and Anas Iftikhar, are active members of a family enterprise that has been operating since 1965, with interests spanning steel, real estate, and capital markets. They have experienced first-hand the complexity of family business dynamics, the weight of generational responsibility, and the cost of decisions made without the right governance frameworks in place.
What they found, when they looked for family business advisory support, was a market full of general management consultants who understood business in general but not the family side of business, and family therapists who understood family relationships in general but could not comprehend the complex relationship of money & power in business families.
The intersection of the two, the precise space where family businesses actually live, was largely unserved in Pakistan.
